Sir Prattipus won this year’s No Dabs Contest with an almost perfect run of the South Rim, having only one dab. I came in 2nd with two dabs. T-bone and KB tied for third when they both stopped counting.
The day was awesome. It was a bit chilly when we arrived but the haze burned off and you couldn’t ask for better weather. Well, I suppose you could but it would be wrong to do so. Once the contest was over we enjoyed some pre-turkey-free feast beers in the parking lot before heading home.

All in all, it was a damn fine time. The only down side was that all of you weren’t out there with us. Don’t despair, the Alliance will be doing another No Dabs Contest in the Spring. I’ll keep you posted.
In the mean time, to keep you occupied, we are going to start up our Wednesday Night Rides starting this Wednesday. Meet at the Cottonwood Trailhead at 9 pm. You will obviously need lights and your game face…
