I report that there isn’t much to report.

As I have mentioned the Alliance will be representing in this weekend’s 25 hours of Frog Hollow. As such I have decided take as much of this week off the bike so my legs are good and rested. Rested from what I’m not sure seeing that I pedal just enough to keep me upright. Nonetheless, I want the legs fresh for all the beer drinking that I will be doing. Nothing worse than feeling the legs burn when moving bottles around…

With that said, I did get out and ride today. Actually that is the only thing I did today. But I digress, as part of the MCA’s community outreach program I took a group of kids out mountain biking (read was paid to teach college kids to mountain bike). We went up Stucki about half way and then turned around and enjoyed the rocking tailwind all the way back to the trailhead. I was tempted to turn around and go back up to do it again, but time was lacking.

Stucki isn’t my favorite trail but there are few downhills that beat it when you have a good tailwind. All you have to do is keep the rubber side down and the fingers off the brakes and you will end up going too fast, if there is such a thing.

Moving on to other things. Apparently there is a happening that is going down on the 11th. It is a sort of kick off for the new community radio station, check it out.

Speaking of music, I’ve been diggin’ on this for the last few weeks.

and this…

You may notice that last one as a song Utah Philips sang quite often. It is a good one.
I think that is all for now.

P. L. and R.

P.S. Feliz Dia de Todos Los Santos…
