Not being able to ride your bike is not the worst thing in the world

The worst thing in the world is waiting all day to ride your bike only to have the opportunity stolen from you by the “Ha Ha you forgot your helmet” monster.

The group ride that I was supposed to be enjoying right now is happening right now. It’s just sans one moose and one knuckler, or I could have just said me.

Right now I have my head in my hands in the stereotypical depression photo. I searched for said photos only to give up because they all looked the same and none of them really looked that sad. And I feel sad which means I must look sad so the pictures would have been misleading. Here at the Mooseknuckler Cycling Alliance we go out of our way not to mislead. Unless it’s funny.

In an effort to pull myself up by my bootstraps (or ratcheting cycling shoe straps, take your pick), I will be riding tomorrow morning. Early if anybody who is working wants to join me or later if nobody does. If you are interested in helping alleve my woos, I assume you know how to get a hold of me.

I will now proceed to drink myself silly and end the night by unsuccesfully hanging myself with a bicycle inner tube.

Until never…

I feel you, Lukas. I’m also a bit under the weather, and not sure why. It’s affected my riding for sure. I haven’t ridden once this week, and I feel like I’m cheating. Tomorrow I shall proceed to rock the bike and pedal. I must. Hang in there it’ll all pass. “… And when you feel like you’re at the end of your rope, tie a knot and keep hanging… and keep remembering, that there ain’t nobody bad like you!” – The Electrifying Mojo
