To get to the Santa Clara River Reserve, head north on St. George BLVD. Turn left onto Sunset BLVD and continue until you come into Santa Clara. You will see a big sign for the Jacob Hamblin home and across the street is a bridge. Go across the bridge. You will make a right and then take the next left. From here just follow the signs to the trailhead.
This trail is great year round and does dry out a bit faster than some of our other trails. There is plenty of up for the short distance but every up is rewarded with a fast fun down. At the top of the mesa there is a section of quite technical obstacles so beware.
