After posting all the relevant information of the who, what, where and when of the upcoming Super Great Alley Cat Race, I realized I had no idea where my fixed cog or lock ring were. So I went digging. Luckily I was able to find both, albeit in completely different locations. This means, that even though not installed, my bike will be ready for some epic skids come the 28th.
While I was digging, I was also desperately looking for the Mooseknuckler Cup. I had this deep, dark feeling in my heart that it had been disposed of by KB, but the hope was there. It has, unfortunately, gone the way of all things American. It has ended in the cemetery of everything Wal Mart and it doesn’t look like it will be returning. That’s right, it’s in the dump.
