The Zen Trail, Moe’s Valley, Mega Zen, part of the Gap and the last mile or so of the Bear Claw Poppy Trail is under threat. These iconic trails and climbing areas happen to sit on Utah State Trust Land. The Trust is threatening to sell them off so McMansions can be built.
Obviously, this is a bad thing and we aren’t going to let that happen. There’s a few things you need to do.
- Sign the petition here.
- Come to the Moe’s Valley Climbing Festival to show your support and Ride Zen on October 19th. Post everywhere using #savezen.
- Email the City of St. George Planning Commission asking them to keep the area zoned as Open Space. planningcommission@sgcity.org
