Only moron’s names and faces end up in public places

At least it was something like that.

Whenever we were on vacation when I was a kid, or just camping, and we saw people’s names scratched into tables, walls, doors, rock faces, etc, the saying was said.

Looking back, it makes sense within that context, but my name is scattered all over the place and I have made an effort to get it in as many places as possible. Especially if that place happens to be a medium and my name is attached to a byline. I guess it makes sense in that context as well…

With that said, it was suggested that the Alliance should have a page/group on the book of moron’s faces. As these types of things go, suggestions can be very powerful forces. I actually had already created a group but hadn’t done anything with it.

Yes, that is Bryce...

And without further ado, http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=101978683175719&v=wall.

I did send out invitations to those of you who have been around the Alliance for quite some time. If you didn’t receive an invitation don’t be offended it just means I wasn’t sure that you would appreciate the kind of satire and commentary that is the norm around here. The group is public so anyone can join…

In other news, I follow a few blogs for entertainment purposes and others I just check out once in a while to find out if anything has changed. These latter ones are those that slightly interest me but haven’t quite got the edge to get me to come back consistently. For those of you within the industry, you are all familiar with Patrick O’grady’s comics (they are the ones at the end of BRAIN). I have read his blog on occasion. Yesterday was one of those occasions. I was quite intrigued to see his political links.

The Wobblies? Mother Jones? Hmm, I'm listening.

I always find it interesting to learn where and who enjoys some of the same philosophies as myself…

Jumping to another completely unrelated topic, my garden is popping up. My favorite crop, peas, is coming up like a champ. I planted a whole row and judging by their current progress, peas may be the squash of this year. You know I will keep you all posted.

How’s that for a smattering of unrelated nothingness? Good? I thought so…

Out.

P.S. Yes, I did finally remember that I had Snip it on my computer.
