So I’ve been going through all the videos I recorded during our ride around the San Jose del Pacifico Grand Dirt Tour and I’ve honestly ended up laughing more often than not. Sometimes the shit we are saying catches me off and takes me back to the moment and other times the pure ridiculousness of what we were doing just makes me bust up laughing.
This particular video is the latter. It’s just Kenny and I riding up a very steep hill. And you probably won’t find it as funny as I did, but about halfway through Kenny starts to pass and you can see him in the frame. Notice how close his face is to his handlebars and then you’ll notice that suddenly my face begins to appear in the top of the frame as well. I have no idea what the grade was in this particular section, but it was steep enough that we were basically standing upright and this put us in the position of being directly over our handlebars.
