We spent our last night on the road in Burlington, Colorado. We paid way too much for a hotel room with a trickle of hot water and beds that were a little on the hard side. Even with all of that it was not dificult to fall asleep after being in the car for 14.5 hours.
When did finally stop and we emerged from our metal, four-wheeled coffin I could barely walk. My knees hurt and I couldn’t seem to stand up straight. Those of you awaiting my arrival at the Mooseknuckler Cycling Alliance World Headquarters please have a wheel chair ready so I can make it inside…
All these little towns all look the same.
Well, we’re headed toward Denver but things still look like Kansas, Kanorado. I am a bit excited to see some mountains and coniferous trees again. And then of course, the desert, red rocks, yucca (even if we don’t get along) and my mountain.
I will definitely be riding tomorrow, if my legs haven’t atrophied to the point that I can’t get them to move.
Out.
