As many of you already know, Sir Pratt threw a work bench at me (and by threw I mean that he wasn’t there to catch the bench for me and save my finger. Any way you look at it, it was definitely his fault). Anyway, the finger is attached as can be seen in the below image that I have dubbed, frankenfinger. Absolutely beautiful work by the doctor. I can’t say the same for the “nurses” at Work Med. Each time they have bandaged my digit, it has been an absolute joke. Today, for instance, my pinky eneded up being the size of my thumb and the splint wasn’t even in the right place. Upon returning to my work place, the bandage lasted about 15 minutes before it just fell off. I rewrapped it and it held until I got home.
In completely, unrelated news. KB and I took the dogs on a walk yesterday. Which also means that I did not get out and enjoy the weather. Mostly due to the above image…
Other than that, things are pretty normal. The weather has been nice and life goes on. The Service Center will open sometime in the future. I’m trying to be patient but I really don’t want our learning curve to be taking place in February. No, I don’t like that idea at all…
That’s about it for now.
Out.
Good to see the finger is doing well.
