Sometimes, the air just comes out of your tires…

Just got done riding with the mountain bike class at Dixie State which I teach. I had eight kids come riding and we had a total of five flats. One student had three before we were done and ended up riding out on my 29’r tubes jammed into his little boy wheel. I ended up riding back and forth enough that the Barrel Roll almost felt like a work out and pumping up all those tubes made my right arm a bit tired. It would have been worst but the students did a lot of the pumping. My poor Lezyne was hot the last couple of times I put it back into my pack. I hope I didn’t melt anything…

In other news, I am currently without anything good to read. I have either read or don’t want to read everything that is in my house. Somethings I have read twice and if they are in my house and written by Neruda I’ve read them multiple times. I’ve got a few rags on order but am open to suggestions. Anyone?

I have a book written by Kropotkin on order and ordered some by Greg Gaffin… We’ll see how the latter really are, love his music we’ll see if he writes in paragraphs as well as he does in verse.

I was just informed via mail through the interwebs that my books by Gaffin should be here tomorrow. Awesomest.

I also just got done riding another lap on the Barrel Roll this time assisted by lights attached to both my steering bar and head protector. It was Spenser Mehr’s first night ride and I think he did ok, except he broke his chain and bent his cassette. Ooops!

We will be riding on Thursday so get the lights charged.

Out.
