I awoke to some great news this morning, amidst this economic “depression” that we have been experiencing where everyone and their dogs are looking for jobs it seems that the wealthy are just becoming more wealthy. That’s A W E S O M E!
American businesses earned profits at an annual rate of $1.66 trillion in the third quarter, according to a Commerce Department report released Tuesday. That is the highest figure recorded since the government began keeping track over 60 years ago, at least in nominal or non-inflation-adjusted terms.
The highest in 60 years of recorded tracking, that’s pretty amazing.
