So a dude who really sucked at cold knock selling, just knocked on my door to sell me TV. Well, I don’t do TV. So blow.

I always love the way the look at me when I tell them we don’t have TV and we don’t want TV and that they are wasting their time. This dude proceeded to tell me he wasn’t that big of a fan either but needed the money. And then stood there and looked at me like I cared. I do care that he doesn’t have any money, but I’m not gonna support some dumb corporation and let them into my home just so he can make a buck. Sorry, you’ve chosen poorly.

Moving on.

Speaking of choosing poorly, I have begun to rethink my mix of bikes. Now this is a big deal for me. It’s almost as big of a decision as how my hair/beard is going to look. Second only to my hair, my bikes are an extension of who I am and a form of expression. So these are big things we are talking about.

Now don’t get me wrong. I have thoroughly enjoyed my foray into extremely high-end, uber light singlespeeds. However, getting a new one every year and never “owning” my bike is starting to wear. It is also difficult to have both a super expensive hardtail and a double boinger worth a damn. So I’m contemplating ditching the carbon hardtail for something a lot more inexpensive… I’ll let you know how this soul searching works out.
