Monday

If you don’t think Utah has any good beer, you are sorely mistaken. Below is my recovery drink of choice tonight. And what am I recovering from? You might ask. Work. I worked today so now I must recover my sanity. I did get a bit of really good news that will help my sanity but I can’t let it out until August. If things go the way I was told they would, we will be having a huge party…

Moving backward in time, let’s check out the weekend. Yes it was one hell of a weekend.

I got Andy to work Sunday for me so that KB and I could tag along on a little canyoneering adventure. We arose around 6, got the goods ready and headed over to Hollywood’s house. Seeing that I have no gear for this sort of thing, he lent KB and I a couple of harnesses. He laid out the game plan and off we went.

A couple of hours of setting up shuttles, taking potty breaks and driving down steep, gnarly dirt roads, we were finally hoofing it down a canyon, Orderville Canyon to be exact. We had been promised adventure beyond our wildest dreams. What we got was pretty damn close and had an added bonus of watching Kim scream and try to run through any water that was more than ankle deep, which there was quite a bit.

Get your popcorn hand out of your knuckle pouch and take a ganter at the proof fotografico.

I thought I was gonna have to leave you all hanging at this point. The site wasn’t loading worth shit and in my recovery state of mind, I wasn’t about to try and fix it. Luckily a quick save and reboot has rendered things corrected.

Moving on.

Here is video proof of Kim’s technique for crossing murky water. I have to admit that me laughing in the background is more funny than her running.

Well, seeing that my connection speed has entered dial-up slow. That’s it for now.

Out.
