Pratt, Go Blow a Goat!

My life has ceased to exist outside of the small room in the back of Red Rock Bicycle.

Today was Sir Pratt’s last day. Well, hooray for him and f*&^% me. Now that he’s out of the way I get to spend every waking moment in the shop. No days off, no breaks, I’m not even going to come home. Ridng? Forget about it. I’ll subsist on Mountain Dew and Ruffles Barbecue chips. What else can I ask for?

On a positive note, my intelligence reached a high spot today when I developed an ingenius method for installing new Hudz to Campy ergoshifters. You pull and push really hard. Works like a champ. I must be at that point in every wrench’s life when building a really expensive bike ($6500+) just isn’t all that exciting any more. Maybe I can blame it on the guys that work up front. They seem to sell a lot of them. Today’s treat was a LOOK 595 with full Chorus 11 speed. When you need a $300 chain tool to put a bike together…

Anyways, I hope Bryce the best and maybe he’ll understand when I berate him in Spanish when he returns from Boricua.

Paz. Amor. y Revolución.
