I got out and rode today. With how bad my legs hurt from Sunday, I was quite amazed at how quickly they loosened up. I actually felt pretty good going up the sidewinder. And yes, I only rode the Sidewinder.
My ride today was actually for the mountain biking class at the college, beginning mountain biking. I knew the wind was going to be hauling, as it was, and I knew that whatever trail we did was going to suck. So I figured I would make them climb. At least half the ride would be semi-easy.
The big news of the day is that it is forecasted to snow tomorrow morning. If it does, I will dawn my wool apparel and head out. I love to commute in the snow. I was thinking about it today, knowing the Logan has to be getting dumped on, and remembering riding to work only to sit on my ass and watch the snow pile up outside. Then when 6 p.m. would role around I would have to ride in the cars tracks to be able to move and by the time I got home I would be covered in snow. Ah, good memories. Maybe that will happen tomorrow…
Group ride update, I do plan on riding Thursday at 6 p.m. if the weather permits. I haven’t looked to far ahead on the forecast, but I would guess we’ll be wet tomorrow and perfect riding conditions on Thursday. So meet at the usual spot, the Barrel Roll trailhead.
Peace. Love. and Revolution.
