Useless Banter

Yada, Yada, Yada…

That’s about all I gots to say. The past week, yes one whole week, has been a blur of typing and head congestion. It’s a week I hope to forget soon.

I do have some random newsish stuff for you today, so read on… (more…)

If you are new to the Alliance, or you already consider yourself a Mooseknuckler and like to see yourself on the web. Check out the “Who are these guys?” page. I finally have a few pics up and you can see the crazy bastards that are the Alliance.

Not everyone is up yet and I will have to procure more pictures, seeing that for some reason I don’t even have a picture of the fourth original member, but we’ll work something out.

Enjoy.

Out.

I got some really cool pants. (more…)

I ran across this, it’s a good laugh

It seems so strange that in many ways I’ve been here, but somehow I never learn anything and I just keep falling down the same stairs again, and again, and again. Once, you may say was enough, but not for me, for some reason I keep coming back for more and keep finding the reasons that aren’t logical and the things that are so far away. And the wasted time and space means nothing when all I want is so easy to have but still so far away. And for some this is encripted and for others it is just some code that I use so those who know keep knowing and those who don’t, will never have a clue what the hell I’m talking about. It boils down to me being stuck in a frozen winter wonder land where my beard is white from ice whenever I arrive and I can’t go outside because it’s too bloody cold. I used to feel so free and easy to be pleased and now I am discontent to be here and be doing what has no meaning to me. I’ve always wanted to be away from this life, from this mediocre existance, from capitalism, materialism, nationalism, patriotism, americanism, religion, life without meaning or feeling. I want to feel the cold burn my face as it clings to the particles of my skin too dumb to be covered up, the ones that hang out in the cold for no other reason then that’s where they are. They freeze, they sting, they grow numb, they hate me for what I have done to them in my hurry, or simply in neglect. They are my cheekbones. (more…)

I can’t even remember everything that has happened since the last time I posted so I’m not going to try. This means that two weeks of riding and other good stuff is lost to you sorry excuses for Mooseknucklers. Deal with it.

The good news is that things are coming together nicely for our little jaunt down to Tucson for the 24 hours of Old Pueblo. Thanks, I believe entirely to Cimarron. We will be riding for IMBA and doing everything we can to not make everyone laugh at us. Especially seeing that I think I’ve been doing the most riding out of the team and I gained ten (more…)

It’s a winter wonderland out their folks. It’s been snowing all night and doesn’t look to be letting up any time soon. Yes, that means we finally have a little skiff of snow on the ground and I don’t feel as stupid calling this the Polar North.

So, today I get to drive my four-wheeled coffin to SG. She’s packed and waiting out front for the six o’clock chime. I’ll be off like a dirty shirt, unless of course it’s a hippy’s dirty shirt and then the analogy doesn’t work so well, but hey it is what it is.

It’s a mate morning, for certain. I crawled out of bed at the bright hour of 9. Then I proceeded to stumble around the house with the intention of cleaning something, I don’t really remember. I think the problem is I don’t have anything to do now that school is out so I just sleep all the time. It’s nice but I’m starting to get bed sores.

And I’m kind of getting depressed, I think it’s all the anti-Lukas sentiment that is occurring in the German district of Logan but I’m not sure. I better drink some mate or this post could go sour real quick. (more…)

I’m sitting here staring at a blank screen. It’s the last day of the semester and my final paper is due. I have my sources, all the info, quotes, all the journalist shit I could muster in a week and now I can’t decide how to start writing it. Figures the hardest part is always the lead. At least after today I get to relax for a while. No school just work, cold, and no riding that’s what I need more laziness.

I’m listening to Propaghandi right now. Yes still great music with an uplifting message. I have about a million different lyrics and verses of poetry bouncing around in my head. I’ve memorized Neruda. Yes I’ve taken my addiction to the next level and starting learning his poetry entirely by heart. Don’t ask me why I just decided I wanted to and I did. I would have to say that “Less Talk, More Rock” is still, hands down, the best album Propaghandi put out, the lyrics are off the wall and they get better with time. I wouldn’t want to down grade anything else they’ve done but that album rocks with all of its talk.

It’s raining. No no new snow so far this week, it got warm again, too warm to snow at least. They had forecast snow for last night but all it did was rain. This warm weather is insane. Think about it, December, in Logan, and we don’t have any snow on the ground, we did but it melted quite quickly after the week of falling that took place. I predict that all the ski resorts go out of business in the next decade. It’s tough enough to run a business when you only make money through one quarter, lose that quarter and your done. Bye Bye big ugly chairlifts and rich assholes barreling down them on ski and boards and stuff. In another 20 years we can go reclaim them as wilderness preserves. Picture it, big chairlifts completely covered in rust and moss and other wild stuff that would have been unheard of in their hay days.

Anyways… back to work on my paper.

Well, my Adobe Photoshop took a turn for the worst. Otherwise there would be pics of snow, mass and a few other things I’ve been waiting to post in the image dept.

The Critical Mass seemed to go off without a hitch yesterday. There were 20-30 hipsters out front with their fixies and old tandems. I was impressed to see so many people out when it was so damn cold.

It started snowing just as we were closing up last night and I think it snowed all night. We even had a snowball fight. Hoorah!

Anyways, maybe I’ll go do something productive….

Viva. Viva. Viva la Revolucion.
