Dang. I wish I was there to play. Though there’s a grass and mountain bike group that plays in Baltimore, I haven’t found an urban group yet… My mallet sits sadly unused in the corner of my room.
I did see a group of people playing urban style in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, though. They looked like they actually knew what they were doing.

You should make polo wheels too so you don’t take a mallet through the spokes. In New York they had made discs by zip tying round pieces of corrugated plastic (like political signs)to either side of their wheels. If you have a spare 700c front wheel around, I think it would be a worthy venture.

Lukas, I like the idea of moving the time to a midweek day and a little earlier. Maybe even a weekly event. Let me know what your thoughts are.
