For those of you who missed out last night, we learned that bike polo is actually a lot of fun. We played a game of two on two. Nobody really kept score but I’m pretty sure I won. There were plenty of close calls and Cole seemed to make up the roles as he went. I gotta say to be good at this goofy game you gotta be able to handle your bike.
We’ll do it again sometime soon. Don’t miss out…
Peace. Love. and Revolution.

I am sad I missed out, I completely lost track of time. Let me know when the next round is. Ciao.

For those interested, here’s a great tutorial on how to make your own mallet:

I made two like this and they cost me $3 each in raw materials. I would recommend, however, not cutting any skipole before you put it through the head of the mallet. The fit is pretty tight, so it helps to have the small end of the pole. Also, I found that 1/2″ and 3/8″ holes work better than the 1/2″ and the 5/16″.

Switch to metric measurements and we just might know what you are talking about.
5/16″ is damn near 8mm, just say that.
What are you, re-building a Chevy?

I’m not rebuilding a Chevy, but my dad is right now. Since the instructions I read were English and most tools he owns in that category are English, I decided to stick with it. Maybe I’ll rewrite it when Park Tool starts making drill bits.
