Winter Wonderland

Apparently it is still winter here in the Polar North, that or we have just skipped summer and our spring was one day long.

Luckily, the Alliance got out for a nice ride yesterday afternoon. Despite the negative energy sent our way from weather.com we had an amazingly beautiful ride. The temperature was perfect, there wasn’t much wind and most importantly no snow. Speedy, Little Erin and myself headed out from the shop and swung by I-dog’s house to pick him up and then waited around for GK to no avail. Speedy rode with us for about twenty minutes and then turned around. The rest of us Knucklers did the Little Pyranees loop and had a wonderful time doing it.

The next Alliance ride is this Friday at 9 p.m. We will be getting together for a bit of bike polo, or pedi polo as Lance likes to call it. Then we have Sunday. It is highly probable that we will be on the trails but stay tuned because the weather can change our plans very easily. The ride on Sunday leaves at 2 p.m. from Sunrise Cyclery.
