Hi all,
Got some non-USU Cycling related news. Just wanted to remind everyone of the Critical Mass community bike ride this Friday. Meet at Sunrise at 5:30.
In Logan, as well as in other cities around the world, Critical Mass has often been a touchy and controversial subject. Please put previous conceptions of the ride behind and come see what’s happening here; we want Logan to have a peaceful, law abiding community ride that riders of all ages and abilities feel comfortable participating in. We’re encouraging riders (within the Mass and without) to ride within the law and be courteous of cars on the road. In order to further the ‘Share the Road’ mentality, it takes respect on both sides. We want this to be a positive experience for the riders, vehicles, and LPD.
For your information, here’s a link to some pretty good articles concerning commuting safety and bicycle laws. Please feel free to read up on how you can be a safer, more responsible user of the road.
Previous to starting the ride on Friday, we hope to have a brief discussion on bicycle laws and safety as well.
Hope to see you there!
