H and Lauren

We headed out from Cafe Ibis at 5:30 p.m. There were six of us, H, Lauren, Little Erin, Robert, the GK and myself. I personally thought we were just going to head up main street and do a short 15 mile jaunt to LD’s. However, we rode out towards Little Mountain, out into the valley tacking on an extra 10 miles to our ride that I wasn’t prepared for. I hadn’t packed any food thinking I would be eating in a warm environment within an hour and a half. About 15 miles out, I got hungry and you should all know what that means. It wasn’t pretty, at least inside my head it wasn’t.

Then we passed this…

A sign, an omen, whatever

I know I should have turned around right then and there, but I had a reputation to consider, so I continued on the death march.

We arrived at LD’s a little after 7. I think everyone was ready for some grub. I ordered just about everything they had that was made from potatoes and had myself a nice little meal that powered me all the way home and into the next day. GK, Little Erin and myself played some pool which I embarrassingly have to say was a very long game.

After the grub, we made a mad dash back to Logan.

All in all, a good fun ride that I would do again, but I don’t plan on being in Logan for next St. Patty’s so we’ll have to figure something else out.

A big thanks to H for organizing the ride and the route.Little Erin rocking the fixie
