Well, I guess I should write about the weekend but I really don’t want to. Ever since school got out I’ve turned into a lazy piece of shit.

I rode Saturday. We, Kathleen and myself, went to Church Rock and did the cherry stem loop in the morning. Lily was wore out before we even got to the trail head from flirting with Chaco, so we ended up waiting quite a bit for her. Plus she hasn’t been out much and is a bit over weight right now. We then grabbed a bite to eat and headed over to the Barrel Ride to finish off the day. Mr. Pratt made me ride the Knolly. So I pedaled the heavy, boingy, geared bike up the endless uphill of the Barrel Ride. I guess I got a really good work out. And we went down the wash and did the new lines that have been built recently. That’s all the riding I did.

Saturday night I was invited to the Red Rock Bicycle Christmas party. After the party we headed over to Gurr’s bar and played some pool. It took me quite a while to warm up to the table, I guess I should play more often if I expect to be able to play at all.
Sunday Kathleen and I went up to the snow with the dogs and hiked around the Forsythe canyon trail head on my mountain. It was a beautiful day with just enough snow to make it interesting. Of course, Lily loved the whole thing as she always does when snow or cold are involved.

In other news, we’ve lost two of our three kittens at the shop, and Mr. Nipples is pretty sick but we’re hoping he pulls through.
