I feel for any wrench who hasn’t had the opportunity to feel the difference between old Campy tools and the new things that are referred to as tools. That difference is quality. We do keep these hid but they are used on a regular basis in the shop. They still, after all the years, work better than anything you can buy today.

:: Elitist ::
The difference is the delusion of quality brought upon by the cost of the initial investment.
Here is your future bike euro-trash:

Elitist? Mr. Gurr you should know better. I just admire quality when I actually see it. I think you took this the wrong direction. I still don’t like Campy’s new stuff, but these tools far out perform anything else I have ever used. You compare the facing, reaming, and chasing tools to anything else on the market now and there is no comparison. The metals they used back in the day were phenomenal and far superior to what is being used now. These tools are almost 20 years old and they are sharper and stronger than new Park, Pedros or anything else you can buy.
By the way, that Colnago isn’t so much Eurotrash as it is a carbon bike built in Taiwan by Giant and finished in Italy.
