I became a coffee drinker late in life. About a year and a half ago I began to enjoy the dark, black nectar of the gods. At first, I just used KB’s mugs but soon found them to be subpar. They not only lacked in the keeping fluids warm department but they didn’t do anything for keeping those, now cool liquids, contained. I can’t count how many times coffee has been spilled in my car. I even had to enact a no coffee rule for KB to attempt to keep my car somewhat presentable.
I tried several different companies and mugs, all suffered from on thing or another. I found one that kept things hot, more or less sealed and worked well for about three months. Then the gaskets wore out and every time I went for a sip, coffee would drip down my chest.
And then I found my Thermos. Purchased at Target for around $25, it keeps my coffee warm all day long and doesn’t leak, at all. I can throw it in my messenger back for my commute and be confident that my clothes won’t be dripping in coffee when I arrive at work.
