Turkey Genocide Day Anti-celebration, T-1 Alley Cat, SGCX and this weekend’s Church.

This photo was stolen from the Night Watchman’s Twitter Feed.

Turkey Genocide Day is upon us once again.

This is a good thing only in that it brings about a time of year when riding in SG is Super Great and there are plenty of underground, off the radar riding engagements to stylize about. And we at the Alliance are pretty stoked on it.

So here’s a breakdown of the up-and-coming.

First on the list, the Alliance will be hosting the Turkey Genocide Anti-celebration Alternative Dinner. This will consist of riding Gooseberry and then having a cruelty free dinner on the Goose. Trust me it’s much better to ride the Goose than to eat turkey. We will be leaving the Lounge around 10 meaning trailhead around 11. We will ride until we are done riding and then we will cook and eat around a campfire.

Second, It’s been a while since we had a descent Alley Cat and our own Fixie Dave is organizing one that is worthy of the end of times. The Alley Cat has been dubbed T-1 week till the end of the world Alley Cat and will happen the Friday before the Mayans (read white people supposedly interpreting the point of the end of the Mayan calendar) predict the end will come. If you’re up for such an endeavor (why you wouldn’t be I don’t know) then check out the details on the FB page, http://www.facebook.com/events/461045570604397/.

Third, SGCX is finally official. And apparently the SG stands for Hurricane because all three races are out that way. I would complain more about this but at least there will be some cross racing this year. Which is a good thing because I wasn’t prepared to make good on the death threats. First race is on the 15th of December so dust the dust off the cross bike and get ready to get rowdy. I personally plan on sandbagging the kiddie category.

And lastly and probably leastly, the Church of the Holy Alliance of Mooseknucklers will be meeting again this Sunday. Meet at the Lounge around 11 as we will be sermonizing our way over to Red Cliffs via Prospector. It’s about 25 miles round trip from the house with only a few blocks on pavement. If you don’t know where the Lounge is and want to participate, hit up the MCA FB page, Moose on FB.

And I have now done my due diligence of informing you of what will be happening at least through tomorrow. If you have any questions, please direct your queries to our new CFO.

Out.
