This is the Equivalent of a Mooseknuckler Event Flyer

In chronological order of occurrence and ascending order of importance, I present to you the following events.

This coming Friday (and by coming I mean the one that hasn’t already arrived, as in the 24th) the monthly Alley Cat Race-esque Mooseknuckler Cup will be held. Exact details are at this very minute being poured over by thousands of tiny lemurs. These lemurs have been bred to consider every contingency and possible Hurrah! that could occur and then output a plan that maximizes said Hurrah!’s.  So far, they have ensured us that you will need a bicycle. And there might be unicorns involved but no colors have been settled upon. For the breaking updates as they break, follow the event on the Book of Faces. I assure you that it will bring a smile to your black heart.

And then, as in the very next day, Saturday the 25th there will be a Moe’s Valley trail/area clean up. This is being spearheaded, aka planned, by the climbing community. As Mooseknucklers or just plain mtbers we use the area as well and it is in our best interest to help out.

As this is not being planned/organized/spearheaded by myself or anyone that I personally know, details are a bit spotty. But here is what I know for sure. The clean up will be on February 25th and it will be at Moe’s Valley/Zen. The DMBTA Book of Faces page links to Moe’s Valley for information. What I have gathered from that website is that there will be a trail run at 9 am and a climbing competition at 1 pm. There is a video of last year’s competition that states that the previous clean up was between these two events. Using my almost-never-flawed powers of deduction, I assume the clean up will be sometime between 9am and 1pm. It would probably be a good idea to check either of those above links for more info…

As this is the closest thing you will ever see to an event flyer from the Alliance, you are more than welcome to print this post out by the thousands and paper the windows of bike shops all across the country. Or you can link to it from your website and save the trees. Or you could buy some stickers and paste the world with them. Or whatever.
